Pmints was founded in 2007 by a group of MBA graduate students from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia, located in Charlottesville, Virginia.  We have assembled a talented group of key personnel with diverse backgrounds in finance, technology, operations, marketing, security and strategy.

• Establish a leadership position within the online payment processing industry
• Protect consumers from personal identity theft and financial fraud by safeguarding sensitive information during online purchase transactions
• Increase profitability for merchants by reducing losses from chargebacks and fraudulent purchases or claims
• Encourage higher-quality goods and services by publishing a consumer-rated merchant directory, creating a secure portal for managing electronic payments, and providing an industry-standard dispute resolution platform
• Impose barriers aimed at preventing minors from purchasing adult content online
• Provide financial incentives for merchants who register with non-profit organizations dedicated to fighting child pornography
